TIRE MAINTENANCE TO EXTEND TIRE LIFE

FACTORS AFFECTING TIRE LIFE :

  1. Air Pressure
  2. Load
  3. Speed
  4. Vehicle Condition
  5. Road Condition

The Biggest cause of tire damage 80% occurs due to a mismatch of Air Pressure in the tire. The air pressure in the tires will decrease by itself. (Up to 0.7 kg/cm² (10psi) reduction in 1 month). Therefore, air pressure maintenance on tires must be carried out periodically.

Damages that occur to tires caused by inappropriate air pressure include:

Tire Fiber Damage
(Tire Damage Due to Lack of Air Pressure)
Coating Peeled off due to heat (Heat Separation)
(Tire Damage Due to Lack of Air Pressure)

Irregular Tire Wear
(Tire Damage Due to Excess Air Pressure)
Tread Cut (Impact Burst)
(Tire Damage Due to Excess Air Pressure)

The Effect of Air Pressure on Tire Life

Tires that are pressured 20% below the recommended pressure have a life of less than 20% of their optimal life. Meanwhile, tires with a pressure of 20% exceeding the recommended pressure have a life of less than 25% of their optimal life.

Advantages of Maintaining Air Pressure in Tires

  1. Reduce tire damage rate
  2. Maximizing tire life
  3. Reduce unit breakdown time
  4. Improve work safety

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Therefore, the installation of TPMS is very useful to extend tire life. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is a tool that functions to check or monitor tire pressure and temperature in real time via the display screen. Early detection of tire problems including leaking tires, flat tires, too high or low air pressure, and hot tires or not. These problems if left unchecked have the potential to cause ACCIDENT.

Features of Display

  1. Solar Power Technology (Solar Power/mini USB Slot Charging)
  2. Colorful Large and Head Up Display (Head up display providing a best view angle)
  3. Display All Tires Status (Unique design showing max. 26 tires status at the same time)
  4. Max. 26 Wheels (Max. 26 wheels, apply to most of the trucks on the market)
  5. Programmable Pressure and Temperature Settings (You can set the alarm pressure and temperature according to the requirements)
  6. Easy to Instalation

External Sensors Instalation

Screw cap for sensor on the tire valve
Put the sensor into tool
Screw sensors clockwise and tighten sensor for the corresponding tire
Change the tool used to tighten the cap
Turn clockwise to tighten the cap and sensor
Check air leakage with soapy water
